Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa Flow is the term used to describe yoga classes where you flow through a sequence of movement, led by the breath. My Vinyasa Flow classes are built with lots of different options to ensure that no matter your fitness level or previous yoga experience, you will be able to adapt the practice to suit your body.

Vinyasa Flow classes are a fantastic way to improve overall health - every class will include poses and transitions to challenge balance, flexibility, strength and stamina. One of the wonderful things about this style of yoga is that we cover all bases in one hour long class.

In addition to the physical benefits of yoga, it's important to recognise the mental benefits too. Personally, I found Vinyasa Flow the first style of yoga that I could really lose myself in. The mind is so focused on the flow of movement and the breath that everything else melts into the background. My worries, to do lists, regrets about the past, anxiety about the future and any other stressors all fade away and I find myself truly present. Fully focussed, engaged and connected.

My Vinyasa Flow classes focus on a new sequence each month. Each week we try variations of poses within the same sequence to keep things fresh. It's very rewarding seeing the progress student make with consistency and repetition over a month of practise.
